Dear Coalition members,

The COVID-19 pandemic is causing widespread concern around the world. We hope that you, your family members and colleagues are healthy and safe.

The Coalition has regrettably been obliged to adjust its events’ programme considerably as a result of the containment measures taken to combat the virus. We have postponed our fifth anniversary celebration to September 3rd. Member organizations have in the meantime decided to suspend group gatherings until the end of May. Therefore, we are currently examining how we can bring the Experience Sharing Day on the Two-year GDPR anniversary online.

The Experience Sharing Day on Cloud Security, scheduled for April 2^nd, has been postponed to June 11^th. We are closely monitoring the updates of the Belgian National Crisis Centre regarding COVID-19 and prepare ourselves to organize a remote General Assembly, if the ban on group gatherings persists on June 11^th.

The role our network plays in keeping people connected is incredibly important in times like these. The Coalition contractors will ensure the continuity of your interactions by assisting you remotely and by supporting the online operations of the focus groups, amongst others, by helping you setting up Teams meetings. We encourage your using their services during this time.

Please, do not hesitate to suggest new topics or formats for distance experience sharing or other ways in which we might be useful to you and your work – especially during this unusual time.
